A Ukrainian crime drama set in a boarding school for Deaf teenagers, performed entirely in Ukrainian Sign Language with no subtitles, voiceover, or score. The audacious choice forces hearing viewers into the visual, embodied logic of signed storytelling rather than translating it for their convenience. Dark and not for everyone, but a genuine landmark in how cinema can be built around a signed language. Won the Critics Week Grand Prize at Cannes.
