The Peanut Butter Falcon(2019)

Zak, a young man with Down syndrome, runs away from his care facility to chase his dream of becoming a pro wrestler, picking up an unlikely friend (Shia LaBeouf) along the way. The role was written for Zack Gottsagen, who has Down syndrome, and the filmmakers turned down money to recast it with a star. The result is the rare mainstream Hollywood film built around a disabled lead, and Gottsagen went on to become the first presenter with Down syndrome at the Oscars.
