Beyond casting Deaf actors, HBO's prestige drama produced a full picture-in-picture ASL-interpreted version of the series, performed by Deaf ASL performers under DASL Leila Hanaumi, who also appeared in the ASL edition. It is one of the most ambitious mainstream attempts to deliver a signed track for a major show, treating ASL access as a designed part of the release rather than an afterthought.
