Ryan O'Connell — a disabled, gay writer — created, wrote, and stars in this semi-autobiographical Netflix comedy about a young man with cerebral palsy navigating early adulthood, queerness, disability identity, and the decision of whether to disclose his disability. Two seasons. Sharp, funny, and genuinely self-aware about disability politics in a way that most mainstream TV never achieves. One of the best pieces of disabled self-representation in television history.
