A year in the lives of four Deaf entertainers: comic CJ Jones (later of Baby Driver), drummer Bob Hiltermann of the Deaf rock band Beethoven's Nightmare, actor Robert DeMayo, and singer TL Forsberg. The first open-captioned film to get a mainstream US theatrical release, and still one of the best portraits of Deaf performers working inside, and against, a hearing entertainment industry.
