Reid Davenport's follow-up to I Didn't See You There revisits the 1983 case of Elizabeth Bouvia, a disabled woman who sought the right to die, and traces its echoes in contemporary assisted-dying debates and a health system that too often makes disabled lives harder to sustain. A sharp, politically urgent argument that frames the question as societal failure, not personal tragedy. Won a Special Jury Award at Sundance 2025; later broadcast on PBS Independent Lens.
