Filmmaker Ella Glendining was born with a rare condition (no hip joints and very short thigh bones) and sets out across the world to find anyone whose body resembles hers, while reckoning with ableism, pregnancy, and self-love along the way. A first-person disability documentary that refuses both pity and cure, premiered at Sundance 2023, and went on to win the BFI and Chanel Filmmaker Award. Fierce and tender at once.
