Inside I am Dancing (Rory O'Shea Was Here)(2004)

Two young disabled men, one with muscular dystrophy and one with cerebral palsy, bust out of an institutional care home to pursue independent living on their own terms. More nuanced than most mainstream disability films of its era, with real attention to autonomy, friendship, and the indignities of the care system. Received a warmer reception from disabled audiences than most films of its kind, even with nondisabled leads.
