Based on Andrew Solomon's landmark book — a documentary following parents of children who are different from them in profound ways: a Deaf child, a child with Down syndrome, a child with autism, a child born with dwarfism. Beautifully made and genuinely complex; it neither sentimentalizes disability nor erases disability identity. The families portrayed are given real depth. One of the most accessible entry points to disability culture and identity for a general audience.
