A Panamanian road-trip film, drawn from the director's own experience with spinal surgery, in which a man facing an operation crowdfunds a journey with two unlikely companions and plunges into the country's wild side before going under the knife. Selected as the closing film of ReelAbilities New York 2026. A reminder that disability cinema is global and that the festival circuit is where much of the freshest work surfaces first.
