A disgraced minor-league basketball coach (Woody Harrelson) is sentenced to community service coaching a team of players with intellectual disabilities. What lifts it above the usual formula is the casting: the team is played by actors with intellectual and developmental disabilities, given real comic timing and personality rather than sympathy. A mainstream studio comedy that put a sizable disabled ensemble on screen.
